Donate money for critical aid to hurricane ravaged areas
The U.S. Virgin Islands is still rebuilding after being hit by two Category 5 Hurricanes within weeks of one another. Hurricane Irma tore through the Caribbean at the beginning of September, and then Maria took out even more islands two weeks later – interrupting the region’s supply chain and aid network. Donate money today to help those in need.
This is a grassroots effort with targeted efforts on St. Croix, in the United States Virgin Islands. You see where your money goes, and you can even submit recommendations for how you would like to see the aid spent at [email protected].
Your help is needed now.
If you can give, even a small amount, your donation is greatly appreciated! People’s lives are being changed for the better with each new donation. To understand our progress and what will be done with your donation please read below.
Your donation goes directly to the people impacted most
We’re constantly in flux and adjusting to the needs of the people on the ground. Our first shipment was generators for local organizations, churches and schools with the most reach to have the most impact on the community at large. Right now, we’re sorting rations of water, gas cans, coolers, freezer packs and other supplies for distribution at some of the organizations we powered up last week. We just placed a shipment for hundreds of LUCI solar lights for general distribution.
As people struggle with the long-term loss of power, our focus so far has been on getting people what they need to power up and conserve power.
But we need help.
St. Croix needs help.
Cash donations are needed so we can continue to purchase supplies and distribute them to those on the ground, trying to rebuild the island and their lives.
This is a cause worth supporting

Cane Bay Cares is a service initiative of St. Croix-based Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP. Cane Bay Cares was established after three strong hurricanes, including two Category 5 storms, Irma and Maria, caused much damage to St. Croix during September 2017. The initiative has a goal of providing relief to the citizens of St. Croix. To make this possible, we have partnered with St. Croix Foundation, which is a 501c3 nonprofit that was established in 1990. All donations to Cane Bay Cares are donations to St. Croix Foundation and are 100% tax deductible.

Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP was formed in June 2009 and founded by internationally experienced business executives with many years of experience in the financial services industry. Focusing our efforts primarily in the financial services industry, our management consulting practice specializes in providing services to clients in need of sophisticated risk management models, debt collections organizations which require liquidation models and analytics, and portfolio management companies desiring a variety of services.
